What each meeting is like
Monday: Women's Meeting and Meditation
A meeting for women only. It opens with a short guided meditation, followed by sharing.
Tuesday: Traditions Meeting
We read and discuss one of A.A.'s Twelve Traditions, the principles that keep groups healthy and united.
Wednesday: Discussion Meeting
A midday meeting where a member suggests a topic and others share their experience with it.
Thursday: Big Book Meeting
We read a passage from Alcoholics Anonymous, the book that describes how the first members recovered, and talk about what it means to us.
Friday: Beginners Meeting
Built for newcomers and anyone curious about A.A. Members explain the basics and share how they got started. Family and friends are welcome.
Saturday: Steps and Traditions Meeting
A morning meeting focused on one of the Twelve Steps or Twelve Traditions.
On the last Tuesday of each month, we celebrate members' sobriety anniversaries. Newcomers are especially welcome. It's a powerful reminder that recovery works.
What happens at a meeting
Someone chairs the meeting and reads a short opening. Members then take turns sharing, or you can simply say to yourself, "I'll just listen." Many meetings end with a short closing. No one will ask you to do anything you don't want to.
